Yeah, although the point about the coverage being different if the races were reversed is valid, this story in and of itself has zero to do with politics. No slurs were thrown, no racially divisive groups claiming responsibility, etc. This ain't like the deal where the black teens tortured the white special needs dude.

Slavery was a policy. So is emancipation, segregation, hate crimes, racial school pairings, racial quotas, crime, as well the courts and penal system. White flight, gentrification, and zoning all have to do with race, taxes and crime.

The evidence is in the article. The behavior of the perps is far outside the realm of sane human behavior. If their motivation was not race based then they are insane and should have been institutionalized long before the crime was committed.
