Google has a very appropriate ribbon. I don't know what some of you wanted, maybe a crayon type drawing that they usually do that looks like some first grader drew it?

Microsoft. Outlook.com for a free email address, and OneDrive which comes with 5GB for free.
You could try to incorporate Dropbox instead, with another email provider.
