quote:

Activists are blasting a new North Dakota bill that would exempt a driver from liability if they unintentionally run over a Dakota Access Pipeline protester blocking traffic on a public road or highway.

The bill is aimed at pipeline protesters, but could be applied to any protest blocking a road.

Interesting on how they define accidental. I assume if a protester throws themselves directly in your path.

Particularly since it's absolutely illegal and in normal circumstances cops arrest people for blocking roads
