Skimmed the article. Ignoring the sourcing issues (far be it from me to question the legitimacy of American Zombie), I felt as though it must be incomprehensible to the author that a person can do work and be paid for that work without being physically present.
It's almost like we live in a "digital age" where people can do informational work over a phone, computer, the internets, or some other electronic magic.
