Warning - NYT article

quote:

“You have basically three people at this point that are credible in this whole thing,” Mr. DeSantis told donors on the call, organized by the super PAC supporting him, Never Back Down. “Biden, Trump and me. And I think of those three, two have a chance to get elected president — Biden and me, based on all the data in the swing states, which is not great for the former president and probably insurmountable because people aren’t going to change their view of him.”

quote:

He said the attitude of Republican voters amounted to, “We’ve got to win this time.” And while he praised Mr. Trump’s policies, he said that Mr. Biden had undone many of them.

quote:

“The corporate media wants Trump to be the nominee,” Mr. DeSantis said, adding that journalists, other candidates and “two presidents” had targeted him with criticism.

quote:

And Mr. DeSantis described his efforts to help the party, noting that Mr. Trump and other Republicans had repeatedly attacked him. “There are some that kind of raise money just for themselves,” he said, an unmistakable jab at Mr. Trump, who was criticized during the midterm elections for sitting on a large pile of cash in his political action committee and not doing enough to help others.

quote:

He did not take questions and was the only person who spoke on the call. But he suggested that his ability to respond to what he described as months of attacks would soon change, a veiled reference to becoming a candidate.

quote:

At another point, Mr. DeSantis was blunt, saying, “I think the voters want to move on from Biden,” adding, “They just want a vehicle they can get behind” but “there’s just too many voters that don’t view Trump as that vehicle.”

Evidently it’s not private, if it was we wouldn’t know about it. When these motherfrickers want to keep a secret they can.

"Mr. Trump, why didn't you fire Anthony Fauci? You talked about how awful he was at your rallies but you and your team promoted him well into the fall of 2020."

"Mr. Trump, if everything was rigged against you in 2020, how do you plan on winning when AZ, MI, PA, and WI all have Democratic Governors and Brian Kemp and Brad Raffensperger are in charge in GA? What is going to be different this time?"

Weaklings embrace a guy who cost the GOP control of the Senate on multiple occasions, got destroyed by Biden, and got cucked by Fauci and the Teachers Unions.

No, what’s weak is simping for someone who’s done a 180 on just about everything he ran on, demands unquestioning loyalty while he was too lazy to fight for the policies or the job you gave him.

Trump also celebrated when Democrat Senator and fellow woke Michael Bennet won re-election in Colorado and tried to flip the GA Gubernatorial seat blue. He said Abrams would be better than Kemp and tried to take Kemp out in a Primary with a candidate (Perdue) who certainly would've lost to Abrams.

This guy is a RINO.

He needs to stay in FL. He will have a much bigger impact and wield much more power there than he could ever hope to in D.C.

A presidential run now is suicide. Fortify Florida!

Desantis has no chance of getting the votes that Trump got, none.

Desantis winning the primary guarantees a dem victory.
