Taken from Facebook, SIAP... noticed this in the "news" tab appearing to be important.

quote:

Hillary Clinton won the popular vote for President by almost 3 million votes. Donald Trump will be inaugurated as the next President. That doesn't make sense for a democracy. The electoral college system needs to be changed.

frick. Russians are even taking over his Facebook page and posting dumb shite.

Bernie Sanders Disappointed in Democracy!

Well he's a socialist; Putin was a communist. So it makes sense that they both have little regard for our system.

We have voter fraud now but can you imagine the amount of fraud there would be in a popular vote election?

You can bet your last dollar that he would not utter those words if HRC won the electoral college and lost the popular vote.

They still don't get it.

So what he means to say is California should control presidential elections.

What liberals should really be afraid of is the elimination of "winner-take-all states". They'd never win another presidential election in a truly representative electoral system. Of course they want the popular vote mechanism because of their dense population centers where people can walk down to their polling station at lunch. It's much harder for people in rural america to get to a polling station.

This election is the perfect example of why we have the electoral college. Its the exact reason it was put in place.

Furthermore; had the electoral college not existed at the begining of the campaign, the strategy for the campaigns would have been completely different.

This argument proved how fricking stupid the socialists are. Makes me sick that this has become a more popular mindset in this country.

Idk. He seems to be OK with how the DNC works. That doesn't bother him , but this does?

Yet he seems perfectly fine with the DNC and the Superdelegates. I've lost all respect for Bernie.

Well he lost the popular vote of the primaries by 4 million votes, so if he wants a popular vote the he was going to lose the primaries as well.

Bernie, Bernie, Bernie.

Republic with a bolted on democratic influence, but not a democracy.

Government schools failed you.

Sanders has been a politician for a longtime. I'm sure he has an extensive portfolio listing his tireless efforts working towards changing the Electoral College.

It's his passion. Been doing it for years, right?
