He's probably the most socially moderate Republican in our lifetimes.

Whatever, bernie. I've never uttered the word President while referencing a certain muslim that's currently dirtying and stinking up the White House at any point and time over the past 8 years. And I never will.

It's gonna be interesting to see how the Trump folks evolve as he comes into power. Especially if he reneges on some campaign promises.

Well, i guess in order for him to reneg, he has to actually reneg... But it's funny watching you Dems talk about all the bad things he's going to do while in office, when he hasn't assumed the role yet. It's going to be a rough 4-8 years for you.

Again, I remain hopeful, but the more I like him as he moves to the center and acts like an adult, the less some here will like him for selling out.

Only a handful will like him less. One thing I've learned from posting on Tigerdroppings, when one realizes they are wrong, it's better to make excuses at all costs and insist you were right, than to concede you may have made a mistake. The vast majority will claim they knew it was impossible for him to do it all and it's actually a good thing that he's not acting on (fill in the blank) at this moment....

Trump is going to grow into the role. He won't make everyone happy, but he's competitive, and will figure out a way to get things done. I don't think he wants to get re-elected, so that will help him go balls to the walls, (I hope).

Repubs nominate Trump and you're surprised Hillary won?? Everyone with a brain saw this coming. You're either stupid or not paying attention. And definitely a Repub.

I've heard Bernie on several TV programs this morning and in the process of telling President-Elect Trump what he must do, Bernie is calling him "Mr. Trump" not "President-Elect Trump".

The liberals will never refer to him as President Trump, just like most of us refuse to say President Obama.. All this started with Bill Clinton and has progressively gotten worse.

You're right in that he'all have to move towards the middle, but that's the exact thing his supporters hate. Establishment and compromise and uniparty and whatnot.

Where do you draw the authority to speak for "his supporters"?

I'm a supporter and I want him to move to the center on just about everything.
