This was done to embarrass Sanders. Is the frustration with the party or CNN?
I have a hard time believing that liberals are okay with the corrupt takeover of their party by progressive totalitarians - especially in such a public way.

Even if outlets did cover it, it's not like the American left is all of sudden going to start holding their politicians accountable for anything.

It seems like they don't really give a shite because, at this point the end result would have been the same. Hillary's basically as much of a socialist as Bernie, who, at the end of the day, would have been no less corporatist/totalitarian than her. They are two peas in a pod. It's just that there are a few die hard BernieBots and maybe the 3-4 remaining legitimate "moderate" democrats who don't want to admit it.

plus the whole "Bernie almost upset Hillary" angle requires some people holding HIllary to task

Let's put a number on it. What percentage of American leftists who were planning to vote in the 2016 election didn't vote for Hillary because of the way she and the DNC handled the primaries/Bernie?
My guess is less than 1%
