So how many died? How many had underlying illnesses?

So why does my kindergartner have to wear a mask again?

That’s nearly a week old. Have they updated it since the 3rd?

Those numbers were apparently in the hospital August 3rd.

You'd have to look at another graph

Those numbers are currently in the hospital right now so obviously can’t be dead yet
Check the date. Might be a valid question at this point, 6 days later.

Good catch on the date. Will look to see if they released another one

Curious how many of those also previously had COVID.

They gave this weak answer to that question a few days ago
“We hear you asking for reinfection numbers, and would love to report them. Unfortunately, we don’t have access to previous test results that weren’t within our system. In addition, many patients think they may have had COVID before, but weren’t tested to be sure. It probably seems like a simple question, but getting accurate data on it has proven to be challenging. “
I don’t love the answer. If a person claiming reinfection says they had Covid before, get their paperwork of having a positive Covid test and can report that.

Not too sure that should be the barometer. If you're sick enough to go to the hospital with covid, then everything should be reported for inventory
- age/sex/vax-unvaxed/race etc

This
To me this is tantamount to saying,
“We really don’t want to look because Dr. Catherine O’Neal (selected by JBE) said that natural immunity doesn’t work and we don’t want to make them mad by finding out the truth (which could make them look like liars).

So 60% of the hospitalizations above 80 are fully vaccinated?
And 30% above 70 are fully vaccinated?
And 21% above 60 years are too?
These age groups people got the vaccines first. Pretty much confirms the vaccines are wearing off. And Israel is panicking because the 3rd booster shot is allowing for new infections with days.
And we are still well within the 2-year window for ADE. Interesting times ahead.

11 of those infected are over the age of 60 — two of whom have now been hospitalized — while the other three got their third dose because they are immunocompromised.
If confirmed in larger samples, the figures could cast doubt on the effectiveness of the booster shot. The confirmed new infections were revealed based on tests performed one week after the group had received the third shot. Three of the above are being described as “younger patients”.

I don’t see anything shocking about this. Those numbers aren’t huge and considering how many more people in their 20s - 30s are probably regularly out and about and exposed to it it makes sense that some of them would end up in the hospital. The difference between that age and the people over 70 is that there’s probably a hundred 30 year olds with covid for every one that has it bad enough to go the hospital whereas there’s probably ten 70 year olds for every one in the hospital. Likewise those two 90 year olds are probably the only two 90 year olds with covid in the state

Everyone has to keep in mind that people over 60 die constantly. No one gets out of here alive
