In an inflammatory move timed to coincide with International Women’s Day, President Javier Milei’s government has announced it will rename a room named after women in the Casa Rosada presidential palace.
Milei’s chief spokesperson, Manuel Adorni, delivered the news at his daily press conference.
He said the ‘Salón de las Mujeres’ (“Women’s Hall”) would be renamed the ‘Salón de los Próceres’ (“Heroes’ Hall”).
Images of historical female figures would be replaced with new ones featuring the image of national icons like José de San Martín, Manuel Belgrano, Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, Juan Bautista Alberdi, Julio Argentino Roca, he said.

Bad move. Alienating voters when there's absolutely no benefit is just bad politics. I like Trump's policies, but sometimes he needs to just STFU too.

His views about feminism were very well known before he was ever elected.
Unlike here, argentinians really don't have the luxury of putting this social justice warrior s*** at the top of their list for concerns.
You can already see the green chutes of an improving economy there and that's what most argentinians will care about.

Trump was great up until the last year where he had 2 bullshite impeachments, bullshite race riots started by insane leftists, a little bit worse flu was released from a NIH funded lab in China that “health experts” deemed bad enough to shut the entire world down and change the election laws in 5 key swing states to allow rampant mail in billowing and not to mention the tech companies, mainstream media, and intelligence agencies suppressing an actual news story about Hunter Biden’s laptop by calling it Russian propaganda, knowing full well it was real, because it looked bad for their chosen politician.

The other side can do that because they are in power. To regain power you have to win, and to win you have to get a lot of votes. NOW do you see a problem with alienating voters for zero gain?
