I realize that there are a lot of important issues out there, like illegal immigration, tax reform, and health care reform.

But I'm not gonna lie. I'm just excited to have a President back in the White House who has some level of coordination. After all, it is America's favorite pastime.

If they could just avoid the sjw-hollywood shitheads that gotta roll the ball to the catcher...that'd be great.

Seems like those fairies never played a sport in their life or picked up a ball for that matter.

Well, we won't know for sure, since he isn't throwing out the ceremonial first pitch: SI LINK

Baseball players have the best vision of all athletes. 20 years ago someone did a study by putting athletes in an eye doctor's chair, turning the lights off and projecting a letter from the left side of the far wall to the right side of the wall at high speeds. Like 100 mph.

Doctor: What was that letter?
Athletes: Uh, all I saw was a white line.
Baseball player: That was an 'M'.
Doctor: Correct.

Good to see Trump can gently caress a ball?

Excellent article. Thanks. When I was in Jr. HS we had a coach who was very much into the visual science of baseball. He made us take a simple test to check eye dominance. You stand facing a corner where 2 walls of a room meet. Hold your finger up to the exact corner of the wall. Then close one eye. Does you finger move?

When your finger does not move you're looking at it with your dominant eye. I'm right eye dominant. Then he explained how you actually track the ball with your front eye 60% and your back eye 40%. Therefore he switched me around to bat left handed since that would make my right eye my front eye. My batting average went way up. Although I did switch to right handed on the rare occasion of facing a lefty pitcher.

Mark McGwire spent a lot of time at the eye doctor to keep his contacts at 20-15 vision. 20-20 isn't good enough for major league baseball.

When one watches a college or NFL football game on TV, it takes up over 3 hours of time.

The actual amount of time spent watching actual live play is about 12 minutes. The rest is stoppage in play, huddle, walking to the line of scrimmage after the huddle, etc.

Lol, Trump has already announced he's bailing on this tradition like he bailed on the SOTU and Correspondents' Dinner. He probably realizes his fragile ego would be unable to handle all the boos.

The Obama is athletic meme always seemed so forced.

I tried to see it but nothing about him (other than his skin color) gave off the slightest hint of athleticism.

There's a video on youtube of him playing basketball in 2008. The shite is so awkward because it's a staged game where the players are trying to let him score
