Methinks a colossal purge is needed.

Government agencies have no place forwarding an "agenda" of any kind.

I don't think there is much debate that nearly every government agency has been politicized to the point of a complete purge is needed.

I'm expected to do my job regardless of my political views, shouldn't they as well?

Maybe I wasn't paying attention but I don't recall the IC being so involved in politics openly.

These are the death throws of the Washington establishment. They are all posturing trying to salvage wreckage. Once Trump is in office, I imagine the gloves will come off. He is being smart by playing nice during the transition.

By taking a job in the government form the Army to bureaucrat to president you are buying into an ideology of government being good and necessary. You can get away from partisanship but you are endorsing an ideology that believes in the state and government.

The best thing is for conservatives to not go into any government job or service if they feel that way.

If our intel people are unable to check simple things like whether or not somebody has ever been to Prague, then everybody involved in the investigation should be immediately sacked upon Trump's inauguration.

The problem is, bm, that when doing your job, comes down to KEEPING your job...guess what.

That is the Achilles heel of Government; like Religion, the Organizational Church can become a end in itself, as opposed to a means to an end. The end being the promotion of altruistic Principle.

Oh. Then hell no. The shite the IRS did was unacceptable and not being held to account was unbelievable.

Most transparent ever, right?

Watching all those fedgov high level employees refusing to answer for their actions was frustrating.

Don't watch all the oversight committee meetings where they talk about government waste unless you are really wanting to be mad.

I did that the other day and oh boy the lying, thieving scumbags we have in fedgov is ridiculous. I don't know or I'll get back to you is all they say until they are caught in a lie.

No, but a lot of people on here are advocating for Trump to use Fed agencies to go after political enemies, so I'm not sure there is a consensus on unringing that bell

The so-called 'intelligence community' is looking more and more treasonous every day.

That's how it started, but, according to the Guardian, our intel people took over for him at some point. Which is why, supposedly, Obama, Trump, and the Congressional leadership were briefed.
