Are you a regular poster on any other political talk forums?

I'm not, at least not anymore. This is by far the best and I have no need to go elsewhere. If I want to read what the other side has to say, I'll just go to slate or NYT and read top rated comments below articles

Nope. Sometimes I comment on articles, but no forums.

Used to be a regular on FreeRepublic during the glory days there. Pretty irregular there now. Then was on STLToday's political board and got kicked off there for trolling.

Now I'm just pretty much here and tRant.

No but when they start accepting new people I might go troll over on DU. At least get one good post in before getting crushed by the ban hammer.

Just here. The site I used to be at has long closed. Bard directed me here years ago.

I am on quite a few. Several different reddits, which I am quite active on. I am also part of a list-serve that does a fair amount of political conversation.

A music website, that had a political discussion forum.

I have been on at times been on DU, market-ticker, and free republic. I get repeatedly banned from DU.

I am probably missing a bunch of other sites too, that I am only slightly active on.

yes - I started on message boards in 2003; I had just won custody of my 13 month old daughter & moved to a new town to start a business

I was known as "the nice republican" on the myway.com boards (now defunct)

I switched to another board in 2005 & have been there since - it used to be as active as this board, but is slower now

I am a member of a few others, but really only post here and the one I joined in '05

I consider this board to be a "safe space" as a hard core conservative; but like the other board because it is fun to have discussions with radical leftists (for me anyway)

this is my biggest complaint with this board is that most of those who are not group thinkers or tied to LSU in some way are run off.

I really like that there are basically no rules here, well for conservatives, liberals have a slightly different set of rules. But I do wish we had a bit more diversity in thought.

There is diversity in thought here, but they are right leaning. We do not need to accept lunacy from the left to make us feel more diverse though.

What made most crazy here was the left leaning people here and their love of HRC. She was the worse candidate the DNC could put up, but they defended her no matter what came out about her criminal ways.

Liberals are definitely moderated differently on this board

But it is no where near as biased as DU - this board is based in LA with a Southeastern influence, so it's not that big of a surprise that it is right leaning

that doesn't make it right.

i fully expect this board to be far right, i have no issue with it, if I did, I would go elsewhere. I love hearing different opinions, and I live in a bit of a bubble.

Yes. I'm on a fairly liberal board.

I'm not well liked and tend to get bulshit warnings for 'being a jerk'.

This is the only one. I have browsed through others, but never felt compelled to post.

I don't mind the left leaning folk being on the board as it serves to drive some good discussion. Always agreeing and having only conservatives/republicans/trumpkins to post with doesn't make for good back/forth on a political talk forum. At least, not most of the time.

Yep. I have a Disqus account, so I'll comment on Media Matters (they are the best I've ever seen at not banning people or comments w different views), The Hill, The Federalist, and Washington Times.
