Are we closer to The Dream, or further away?

Thought about this driving to work today. MLK was a great man, too bad he never was our president. He wanted equality for all. Not one group in favor of another, or tearing down one group in order to build up another.
I feel like today, as we stand, we are moving further away from that day.
We just spent 8 years with a leader that showed he was rather unqualified to be in office. Because a few people had stupid racial criticisms of him, all legitimate criticism (of which there was many) was rolled up and called racist. The idiot screamings of a few drowned out the legitimate screamings of many.
Now we get a guy that is an orange clown, who has many great ideas, but they are getting drowned out by the idiot few who think make america great again means an end to civil rights and a return to slavery.
This is not how it was supposed to be.
I feel like today, as we stand, we are moving further away from that day.

Too many professional race hustlers who need blacks to stay poor and downtrodden, and make sure things stay that way
These race hustlers work with politicians and pastors to make sure the programming is sent out to the masses

After November's "white lash" i would say we have hit a set back but demographics changes will solve all... Particularly as the Jim Crow generation continues to be culled by father time...

Well we did see the Death of Robert Byrd and many other racist Jim Crow Dems the past 8 years before the so called "whitelash" you mentioned.
Ironically, the left celebrated their deaths. I wonder why?

I realize that I too made a mistake feeding the troll.
Probably best to just ignore it. Let them put their hate in display, but back off and cheer it on. The country needs to continue to see the enemy lies within. People like that poster do not want unity. It would kill their party, and we know party comes before country with their ilk.

I dont hate white people at all. In fact i dont personally know any people as awful as most of you on this board... But the many white folks i am friends with completely agree with my stance on this question.

What cracks me up about idiots who tout that garbage is the majority of them, like Jones, do not live in truly diverse areas.
I'm a minority where I live now, and the majority of folks I know voted DJT, while I didn't. White, Black, Hispanic and....drum roll...Muslim. LOL
Yet this was a "whitelash".
But I get it. They need constant division to thrive.
