Hearing rumors that antifa is tearing down Jackson monument in the french quarter this Saturday.. no link but jeff Crouier on 990am is talking about it.

I am going to look back when I said they would try to tear down the Jackson Square statue and some libs laughed and others said yeah right, I will fight. Maybe the time has come? I will look back into my post history and try to find it.

The Andrew Jackson statue isn't some little statue like the one in Durham that the protesters were able to tear down.

You would be surprised what you can accomplish with some really big come-alongs, heavy duty chokers, and a good anchor point.

There's not a single statue in New Orleans that has much to do with the city's charm. You could take down every last statue in the city without lessening charm by even 5%

With the proper pre-planning, that statue could be down in about 90 minutes. Plan the work, work the plan. Just try telling a bunch of brain dead ironworkers they can't do something.
