Unless you liberal loons want to use their universal healthcare as an example right?

What about India? Much more multicultural than the US or Europe.

Spain is a collection of autonomous communities with distinct languages and histories. Does that count as multicultural?

Switzerland has three official languages. People here throw fits when they assume immigrants can't speak one.

Europe in particular isn't stupid about diversity. They have good reason to distrust nationalism and movements that use it for their own ends.

Israel for the Jews.

Also you realize that Israel is made up of ethnicities from all over the world, right? They are tied together by their Judaism, but the breakdown of Jews from historical ethnicity is actually really interesting.

Also any discussion about culture needs to acknowledge the fact that American culture is an amalgam of lots of different cultures, taking little bits of each immigrant population and making it "American." A culture isn't a cogent, monolithic thing. It's very fluid and represents a lived reality of people.

That's what great cultures do. People talk about China being homogenized, but the reality is that there was lots of migration into China by various groups, but Chinese culture swallowed those groups and made them Chinese. They even made Muslims Chinese (before you come at me with the Uyghurs, please look up the history of the Hui people). It's what the Romans did. This is what hegemonic cultures do. Why people continually insist on retreating from the very things that actually made America great is confusing to me.

ETA: Exporting their culture is exactly what the British and French did during colonialism. Does anyone think that South Asia became obsessed with Victorian values or cricket by themselves? Or that the 2nd-largest French speaking city in the world would be Kinshasa?

Jaxdog: People don't come to the USA to make it "not white." Immigrants come here for the same reasons they have always come here...economic opportunity and personal freedom. And we've been multicultural since the early days with succeeding waves of immigration of peoples from differing cultures.
