For one, I'm not sure how you've taken what I've said the way you have. I don't understand how you think this is incredible personal insight? It's bizarre the way you've responded in this thread, my only insight into why you've responded in such a way is to degrade.

Two, what is 'unfounded' about it. What is not true?

If you want to know my political views, listen to Carolla and you'll get a good idea how I think. While I do disagree that my generation are a bunch of narcissists (although people at the OWS certainly are), I have to agree with just about everything else.

Maybe you could explain then, since the other guy couldn't, how a group that cares about the collective, the planet, sustainability, equality, fairness, ect is narcissistic?

It's because a brighter person would rant about the mechanism of a system that cause such inequality. And a more informed person would understand that corporate welfare, unearned bonuses, bailouts, tax havens, ect are ways for the very rich to get away with getting something for nothing.

So much stupidity in just two sentences coming from someone talking about brightness it is striking.

Every bonus paid is earned and is part of a well laid out comp plan. Bonuses are high for some because the work they do can only be performed by a few. My comp is usually north of 50% - 70% variable (mostly bonus) and is ONLY paid if I achieve specific goals.

To call bonuses unearned is ignorant of the real world. To call nearly anyone's compensation unearned or unjust for that matter is simply intellectually lazy and stupid.

When someone starts talking about " the mechanism of a system that cause such inequality" what they really mean is I am unable or unwilling to do what is necessary to do to achieve that result.

I grew up poor and busted my arse to get to where I am and continue to bust my arse to get to the top 1% that so many bitch about. How about instead of bitching about "those who have" you get your arse to work making something, providing a service people want, or a new technology to solve a problem that needs solved and achieve something as well.

Narcissism is a personality trait more than an ideology related thing. Sometimes narcissism and a false sense of entitlement are used interchangeably to describe the new generation. It just seems like people who are always preaching on those things are smug and narcissistic. At least that's what I think. Of course they're not all that way but it seems to be more common. It's just human nature. (I.e. Someone who is big on going green may feel like they are doing more for the planet and thus may feel like they are better than someone who doesn't recycle as much)
