he hated Trump because he grew up in NY and "knew first hand" that Trump cheated the union workers out of tens of millions of dollars on Trump projects...

"he would sign a deal for 20 million, then wait until 75% work was done, then re-negotiate the deal to 10 million..."you agree to this or I'll file bankruptcy and you get nothing"... I said that's hard to believe but if true I am not okay with it...

then he started in on Global warming will cause more earth quakes and north Carolina is way over due...he added "underground power lines are very difficult to fix" (I had not thought about that before)

then he said Bannon had all the southern border Wall money on his boat and that's why he was arrested...

CSB

they exit among us...(correction *exist among us)

Did you ask him how global warming would cause more earthquakes? I'm very curious about this.

I'm calling bull shite on this unless the contractor is dumb enough to sign a contract that would allow Trump to do this then it is on the contractor. Why wouldn't the contractor sue Trump or put a lien on his property? Furthermore this story is likely untrue or embellished over time by Trump haters.

Okay, he does not have a firm grip on reality.

They are more difficult to fix than above ground lines but hey are more reliable and you don't have to fix them has often. See Sarasota, Florida as an example. They just caught the eye of a major hurricane and did not lose power because their lines are underground. With that said underground lines are more expensive.

hen he said Bannon had all the southern border Wall money on his boat and that's why he was arrested...

Wall funding came out of the Pentagon budget under Trump because he couldn't get congress to approve funding. You know from all those Republicans that are serious on a strong border and building a wall...

My wife was telling me a story about a guy that was doing concrete work on entrance to one of his buildings that he told her directly. Said Trump walked up to him and they talked for a few minutes, and that he knew the specs of everything that was being done which blew his mind. A few weeks later, Trump was with some people, execs, political figures, etc. And saw the concrete guy and stopped to talk to him. Remembered his name and introduced him to everybody he was with.

I don't know about his business dealings, but that story verifies what I've always believed that 1) he's very sharp and 2) more personable than many people like him.

I get it, but factored in with the repair/rebuild hurricane costs the last few years, had La in, say, 1980, mandated underground lines for all of La south of I-10, Would it be more expensive?

Haven’t you heard?!
The global climate catastrophe is gonna cause the magnetic poles to shift which is gonna cause all the tectonic plates to turn on end and flip over and end all life on earth. How do you feel about plastic straws now???

This has been a known fact. He would sue the architects/ engineers if he didn't like how the building would turn out.

He's a fraud in business.

Not a horrible president but not our best.

Off subject Trump could have possibly went pro in baseball.

I always lol at Comey's book... where he talks about meeting with Trump and Trump was so scatterbrained he went from topic to topic to topic without finishing anything but did eventually come back around to the topic they were meeting about.

Uh, Comey, your mind incapable of keeping up does not = Trump's mind being scatterbrained.

Union dudes are weird. The kind that put all their faith in the union and talk about it like it saved their lives.

he simply said the planet would get warmer on the inside because the outside is warming ...creating pressure that must be released..."It has nowhere to go"

... he said with a straight face

I decided to let him continue talking...rather than challenge his arguments. He talked about the Ohio river once caught on fire and that people need to stop polluting the planet,,,we did agree on that part

He's been a real estate developer for over 50 years. How does he keep finding people willing to do work for him if he bilks them all?

He kept mentioning how old he was...so I asked

I am 56...but he looked much older than I... Must be living a hard life.

I should have mentioned Nancy Pelosi is 30 years older than him... that's old!

he wasn't a fan of any politician in office for decades

that we agreed on too...

They have....hundreds of them since 1980. Its not unfair to say that a fair amount of contractors got screwed by him over the years.

If 75% of the work was done and they hadn’t already billed and collected over $10M or otherwise being willing to gamble and call his bluff then they are just idiots and that’s that.
