The State Department has more than doubled the rate of refugees from Iraq, Syria and other suspect countries in the week since a federal judge’s reprieve, in what analysts said appears to be a push to admit as many people as possible before another court puts the program back on ice.

A staggering 77 percent of the 1,100 refugees let in since Judge James L. Robart’s Feb. 3 order have been from the seven suspect countries. Nearly a third are from Syria alone — a country that President Trump has ordered be banned altogether from the refugee program. Another 21 percent are from Iraq. By contrast, in the two weeks before Judge Robart’s order, just 9 percent of refugees were from Syria and 6 percent were from Iraq.

No big deal. Those countries are overwhelmingly peaceful.

WTF are we paying Rex Tillerson for?

Trump needs to call him and tell him to get that shite down to the lowest rate that is legally possible.

All we can hope is that the vetting process is truly already as good as the Left claims it to be. If anything happens with the ones coming in now there will be hell to pay.

Who are these people? Certainly not Patriots or Americans.

While they're at it, why doesn't the State Department push to let in the Ebola virus too?

I don't think Dems have enough sick people to put on their payroll as voters.

You forgot to mention that none of them are vetted by the USA. The United Nations vetted them as safe. No US vetting was conducted.

The US State Dept is NOT vetting this flood of arrivals. They are being vetted by the United Nations using UN standards.

So I guess this sets up the argument for a potential future attack that Trump is at fault because he inflamed the situation.

That is what I would put my money on

Apparatchiks in the bureaucracy are running wild and doing what they "feel" is right.

Your sisters?

Daughters?

The Obama vetting rules are no longer in effect. The 90 travel ban is supposed to operate to give the Trump Admin time to issue new vetting rules.

The Travel Ban is held up by the courts. The Obama vetting rules did not spring back into life now that the Travel Ban is not in effect.

The United Nations vetting standards are the only vetting rules in effect now.

I don't have a link. I didn't get this info from the internet.

If it were up to the left we probably wouldn't even have refugee ID laws...

Here's the vetting process for refugees. It is initially started by the UN and referred to the US and additional screening is don by the US.
