395 Blacks have been killed in Chicago this year

Or 78% of victims. 10 are police related shootings.
In 2016, 626 blacks were murdered in Chicago. 78.3% of victims with 11 police related shootings.
That's 1,021 murdered since Jan. 2016 with an average age of 28 years old.
We haven't even included Gary, Indiana/NOLA/Detroit/Birmingham/Baltimore, etc.
Police brutality is not a major issue facing black youth. It's gang activity and violence against one another.
It sucks to see black role models like Lebron use their platform to attack Trump, instead of address the real issues.

Possibly the biggest problem facing black youth is the 72% out of wedlock birth rate of African Americans, which in no way involves white people

I don't really care if someone wants to kneel, but don't be disingenuous about it. If these players actually cared about improving the lives of black people in regards to cops they'd spend more time in these inner cities and meeting with police in efforts to improve relations and less time creating more divisiveness amongst Americans.

It is pretty reprehensible that beefense cares more about black on black crime, than child molestation cover ups in the Catholic Church. Sad!

This is one of the reasons why I find these protests disingenuous, and I know I am not alone.
The biggest issues facing the black community are violence, crime, single parenthood, and education.
Those are either not commented on, deemed racist, or given significantly small amounts of air time.
If the above issues are fixed, the police brutality issue would resolve.

If everyone would come together, real progress could be made within the black community and youth could have better lives.
But it seems the lib/leftist side does not want to address the issues and keeps passing blame. I wish they would put politics aside and help
