According to NBC News, Fukumoto was ousted from her position of three years after speaking out against President Donald Trump at the Women’s March. "There were many little girls watching [the election] who walked away believing that you can bully people and still win," she said. "And what I said at the march was that regardless of who we voted for in the election, it was all of our responsibilities to show those same kids that in the end kindness and respect should always win."

Wait, shes a member of the Hawaiian legislature, and spoke at the womens march. And I'm supposed to believe, or care, that she left the Rep. party?

Perhaps.
I know nothing of the rest of her politics.
But, if criticizing Trump means "you're a Republican in name only," then the GOP is completely dead and needs to be buried. Yeah, its dead, as this week demonstrated.
Trump is a disaster and a national embarrassment on virtually every level. To NOT criticize him is an act of disloyalty to America.
I am thankful for his Gorsuch nomination, though. That was a good thing. Other than that, virtually every day of his presidency has been a mess.

I live in Hawaii. Being a Republican here is tantamount to committing political suicide. This woman was a RINO. Plain and simple. She switched parties not because of Trump, but because it's the only way she could further her political career in the state.
