Will Sen. Cornyn get his 50% +1 against his 7 Republican opponents to avoid a runoff?

Tell me about it - I'm getting a heavy dose of them here and the NH primary isn't until Sept. 9th, the last primary date in the nation !

I live in Texas, but I wish somebody could tell me who the real conservatives are.

According to the negative campaign ads, they all sound like crooks.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks, I'll check him out. I do lean towards the Tea Party, Cruz, etc.

Let's see, you had the Lt. Gov disowning evolution - Railroad Commission candidates debating abortion, Agriculture Commissioner candidates talking about immigration.....

I basically said frick em all and voted for Kinky Friedman for Ag Commissioner because his lone issue is to legalize marijuana - which would be a winner in so many ways, from being a huge income generator to shrinking our prison population to reducing expense on our judicial system. Its past time on this issue and it makes so much sense. (And it would decrease the number of Aggie arrests)

You know senator Cornyn has been fighting President Obama and he is a "true" conservative.

He only speaks up when it is election time, the rest of the time he is McCain and McConnell light.

Yes to Stovall. I've posted here before, watch out for Katrina Pierson in House race for TX 32. She might just knock Pete Sessions out. A lot of negative stuff has been exposed about Pete Sessions(pro amnesty, lives most of his time in Orlando, etc.)

I was telling the wife that I have never seen a primary where so many Republicans tried to out conservative the next guy. Even on the signs it usually says "True conservative". I have never seen that before. Meanwhile in the dem commercials they are trying to slam their opponents by saying they are too conservative. Bizzaro world.....

There's a better chance of Jessie Jackson joining the KKK than there is for Stoval to get even 10% of the vote.

Check out Tea Party member Steve Stockman - running for the senate. He runs an unusual campaign but there's quite a bit of hilarity.

Even though he just spent two weeks of taxpayer money globetrotting, he certainly doesn't waste it on fancy office space.

Maybe so, but he happens to be a friend of mine. He entered this race out of love for his state and the constitution. If you spent 15 minutes with the man, I would bet that he could garner your respect.

Interested to see what happens with TX Land Commissioner race. I just can't bring myself to vote for another Bush, especially an offspring of Jeb.

I voted for Stovall for Senate, Paxton for Attorney General and Patrick for Lt. Governor

Cornyn will unfortunately get 50%+1 because of the ignorant sheep believing his lies that he tells on his radio ad. He had the stones to run a radio ad saying how he voted against raising the debt ceiling and how irresponsible it is to deficit spend(yet his vote was the final vote needed to break the filibuster against it)

He has the warchest though so he can run 3 radio ads per hour on talk radio around here claiming how conservative he is and how anti-Obama he is, I haven't heard a single radio ad from Stockman and the only Stovall ads I have heard have been weak.

It's sad, isn't it?

Unfortunately the ignorant masses here(especially old people) believe Cornyn is a conservative fighter and don't see him who he really is: A big government establishment hack who opposes limited government.

He fights behind the scenes to defeat conservative principles then votes the conservative way when he knows it will pass.

He says all the right things but never does the right things, and too many people fall for the bait and switch. Once he wins the primary he will go back to being McConnell's #1 goon.
