I don't see ISIS making a distinction between contractor and AMerican military over there. Hope they get them out.

this is rapidly spiraling out of control.
I wonder how long we let this sit.

So we trade 5 high risk terrorists for a deserted and Taliban sympathizer but we can't give these guys fricking air support? Disgusting

So us trying to nation build and it falling flat, thus leading to this begs the question "What happened to us"?
IF, and I say if because well, WND. But, if the story is true, one would hope we would have an effort already in play to go help those guys. I mean, it aint like we don't have assets in the area.

We would still need permission or otherwise have consent of the Baghdad government - who are ostensibly responsible for our guys safety as it is.
Since the Iraqi army is better at running than fighting - this could be a really bad situation for everyone involved.

Obama should be sparing no expense to get those guys out by whatever means necessary.
The whole point of the military is to ensure safety for Americans.

We need to get Hilary to chime in on this......there is potential here to ruin her campaign thru the missteps that I have ZERO doubt will occur

it was only a matter of time before the ISIS terrorists succeeded in breaking through the perimeter
WTF? Are they staying in a castle?
Is this even a credible news source? It's a poorly written article - no offense OP.

What are you talking about? Do you not understand the concept of a security perimeter?

Assuming this is true and Im not willing to bank on that at this point.. We absolutely need to get our arse in gear and get these guys out. They are essentially Military personnel as a security force.

I don't think they're security personnel. More like airplane mechanics and the like supporting Iraq's newborn air force.

You'd know more than me but I just thought they were possibly more security for securing the area in anticipation of the f-16's..

I don't really know for sure but I do know that a lot of the contractors over there now are guys like that. We also have a lot of guys still operating drones for the Iraqi Air Force. That's the job I almost took.

Who is WND?
Before I get my jimmies rustled, I want a credible source.

There will be no order to stand down as you perceive it to be.
