For those who want black uni's

Check out the Steelers on ESPN. White pants, black jersey and gold helmet. I didn't recognize them....and I don't like the look. Maybe there won't be anymore posts on the subject.

I'm not saying I want them for us, but I like them as the Steelers alternate uniform.

Steeler did not look cool in those jersey with the gold helmet. 
We are purple and gold.
The black jerseys worked a little for the baseball team because they did not have that gold helmet on their head. The batters had purple helmets.
It does not look good let it die.

That's fricking pathetic. It was bad enough LSU wore those gimmicky uniforms last year. Black would cause a riot.

Not 100% sure but when I went to watch the BCS NC celebration at Tiger Stadium I could have sworn the players were wearing warmups that were gold and trimmed in black.

If black is part of your school's colors, then fine. And I really liked the Steelers unis last night.

Sorry I thought the gold helmets with the black shirt did not look good at all. Even if there were a little purple trim in there, it would not help.
