Would you like to see the Tigers try the Wildcat formation with Murphy or Trindon behind center?

My thoughts exactly. Don't get cute, run the offense.

We will see a variety of stuff that will be implemented in the next few weeks. rest assured. I do not think that this will be one of them, though. Is it just me, or would anyone else like to see LaFell be the guy who touches the ball in all phases of the game?

Why not?? It always seems to work if you have the horses to run it (as we do). I wouldn't run it every play, but 15-20 snaps a game.

BTW, Either Mitchell would probably be the best to run the wildcat. Both were HS QBs who can throw the ball.

Yea b/c we have an experienced proven QB that we would rather have the game in his hands.

Why are some people just totally against change? People this formation works when you have the studs to run it. Hell just ask the Patriots!!

it would probly be keiland to run the "wildtiger" as it should be called for us. hes already shown that he can throw the ball. they might be saving it for Georgia or Bama. I would love to see the look on Sabans face if that happened to him. fewer than 5 times per game though, something to throw the defense off.

If we did run it, I agree on J Mitchell.

Mitchell in the shotgun, with Williams in the backfield. 4 WR's - LaFell, Holliday, Chris Mitchell, and T Tolliver. We could do all sorts of things with it, I suppose. Chris Mitchell would be great to use to crack the safeties and OLB's and Holliday would garner attention, no matter what we do. I think LaFell is our best blocker and overall talented WR. K Williams can obviously throw the ball, too. I see potential, but also see that Wiz won't ever use this.

If we would run it I don't think it should be run more than 5-6 times per game. At least it would be something else that the opposing team would have to prepare to defend each week. It also isn't a risky play as long as we don't try to throw the ball out of it.

What happend to Mcknight had nothing to do with the Wildtrojan formation, he just can't hold on to the ball.

it was perfect for arkansas because McFadden and Felix Jones were their only good players. LSU doesnt have that problem. however LSU has the talent to run it so why not mix it in once a quarter or so. If anything it fires us the offense, defense, special teams, and the coaches, and o yeh the fans too.

Yea, let's run an offense that once a defense sees anyone black at the QB position, they call an audible and stack the box.

On a side note, J. Mitchell or K. Williams running it is not like Darren McFadden running it. He was leagues ahead of them as far as talent.

So, yeah, I hope we do run it, so we can freaking lose.

Some of ya'll need to wake up and leave Candyland!

No. We don't want to give the appearance that we're trying to copy what Nutt is doing at Ole Miss.

This might be the most idiotic comment I have ever heard on the rant. Please don't have children.

The guy running it from Ole Miss was no McFadden or Mitchell for that matter and he shredded Fla. You don't think there is a reason more and more people are using it.

Hey Razor....go back about the last 10 or so years and tell me how many Wildcat Formation teams won it all. Then call me an idiot....
