Piece of Field Goal Net from 07 NC

for those interested.....
Pieces of the field goal nets are on sale at the customer service desk in the bookstore. They are in glass cases that contain the netting as well as a handout type thing with some pictures/information from the NC game. They cost $69.

Kind of cool collectors items

I mean I guess thats pretty cool, but 70 bones for a piece of a net in a glass case. Maybe if it was from the final four...sounds a little steep.

It is pretty expensive....but how often do you have the opportunity to buy something like that?

Its definitely a unique piece of memorabilia. I guess since the field goal netting isn't really an integral part of the game...I note it benefits the Little Hands Playground Initiative too though, whatever that is. Thats one way to justify the price I suppose.
