I know this has been discussed on this board ad nasium - but after watching the USC game, and seeing how the rest of that frickin strong conference performed yesterday, the topic needs to happen again.
There is nobody that should come within 21 points of USC in their conference. It is weak sauce. Yet I would guess that there are at least 3 teams that could beat USC on any given Saturday out of the SEC.
It is truly just unfair to send a team from a weak conference to the NC based on them dominating their weak sauce conference. And meanwhile you keep out three or so teams that are equally as good because they lose several games playing each other throughout the year.
There has to be somewhere to petition... or something.
(Sorry to be the guy that had to start this thread again... but man I need to vent - major college football is broken.)

i mean just look at all the truly undeserving national champions
i think the way to fix it is come up with a system....yeah, a playoff, where we let more teams play for a title that only few deserve

How on God's green Earth can ANY LSU fan complain about the BCS???? It's seems to be working out for us.
Joe Paterno has 5 unbeaten season, but only 2 NC's. This shite has been going on for years.
The media CANNOT handle picking the matchup. If they had thier wish, it would have been Ohio State/Michigan 2 years ago. Let the computers decide.
THERE WILL BE NO TRUE PLAYOFF. It will not happen. Just enjoy what you have.
