i want something different than games

there aren't any skill challenges where you can just do 1 function over and over and over again to perfect your play?

go to practice. when you go to select your play, go to "by play type" (or something like that) instead of going to formation. from here, you have the options of standard pass, shotgun pass, option run, inside run, etc.

just highlight one of these options and hit the button for random play (Y on 360). it will give some variety when practicing. do the same when picking the defense you want to play against, if you are having trouble against certain defenses.

but really, the best way to practice is unranked games online, as stated earlier.

it's not play against defenses or anything like that

i'm trying to practice playing the game. the actual physics of the game

i need to know how to make my guys do whatever i want them to do on the field before i get serious about the other stuff, which is easy

Then hit practice mode with offense ONLY.

That way you can move your guy around when he has the ball, get a feel for how moving the controller makes the guy move and what not.

And also work on the jukes.

Same goes for passing. You can get a feel of when to throw balls on certain routes and what types of precision to use on passes.
