I went with the Jets over Miami. That's the only time I feel confident picking them, Favre or not.

San Diego over Carolina
Always pick a safe game in Week 1 of a Survival League. Only once you have a good feel of what teams bring to the table in legitimate games should you start to take a look at the the dwellers.
