She and Terri Saban are close friends and she revealed why the Sabans left for Miami. She said that Coach Saban turned Wayne Heizenga down three times. Said they loved Baton Rouge and LSU and were not interested in going to Miami. Mrs. Dooley said the final decision was that wayne offered them any house they wanted and offered Terri $500,000.00 to decorate the house and they took the deal.

She said they alwasy regreted leaving Baton Rouge and they didn't like Miami at all. Said they were happy to be back in college.

Scoop, I actually do believe that. I believe the Sabans were happy at LSU but were like many people, they looked at money as making them happier. They already were making a lot of money and this proved that having more of it doesn't neccesarily make you happier.

Hope you're having a good day.

Glad to hear they loved Baton Rouge and LSU, but they burnt that bridge.

Wow. Probably the worlds two most annoying people on the radio together. Did she call herself "The First Lady of College Football"?

I think I'd rather take a sledgehammer to the cods than listen to those two.

Is it out for this week? If so, get ready for that loss to Tulane.

I think everyone here already knew that Saban is a money-grubbing whorecoach, but thanks

The one thing that makes the Sabans look bad in that story is how it only took a $500,000 "decoration" fund to convince Barbara "First lady of college football" that now was a good time to move to Miami. Looks like they were made for each other.

Yep, and they REALLY loved Michigan State and wanted to stay there too. He left them high and dry, sent a plane for his assistants and it came back empty. Saban flirted with other teams way too much to LOVE LSU so much. He got a better monetary offer and bolted. Bottom line is that the Sabans have gotten a ton of bad press and want to make themselves look better.

BTW, who the hell makes a job decision based upon a decorating allowance?

1) Saban knew he could not be a winner at the Miami Dolphins, so he quit on them after his typical lies.

2) This BS about Saban liking Baton Rouge and LSU is a way for him to get back here and recruit Louisiana HS players. Saban is NOT welcome back !!

Yes, both are basically full of shite. They don't give two shits about any program and that goes for Alabama too!
