Anyone know if this is worth a damn? Mad Catz usually makes some pretty pathetic products.. Just wanna get some feedback before I purchase..

EDIT: By the way.. I have a 32" Plasma screen, I'm getting the fixed horizontal lines thru a component connection. HDMI from my PC looks awesome.. I heard if I switched to an HDMI connection from my 360 it would fix the problem. This is my second tv.. Wanted to try this before I take this one back.

Have you double checked to see what you have your 360 set to output ?

For example... if you have a 720P TV you want to make sure the 360 is outputting 720P.

You don't want the 360 outputting 1080i and then your TV converting it to 720P. That is a lot of unnecessary extra processing.

Yeah, that's the first thing I did. I may have to switch to an LCD. I'm getting quite a bit of IR anyway.

it's basically defeating the purpose of hdmi all together....talk about a "bottled water" idea

Yeah, you're talking about taking an analog signal and converting it to digital

HERE is a device that does it for real. You can bet it is not going to cost just 80 bucks
