I have two questions:

1) This is a PPV, correct?

2) Every week, do you have to cut the grass?

no idea. i'm not overly impressed with Fitch though. His main thing is outwrestling people and GSP is a better wrestler than him. Fitch had real trouble with some nobody in his last fight.

I'm excited about this card. Only three fights, I'm interested in though. But they should be exciting. I like Huerta/Florian to be the Fight of the Night. Those 155ers always entertain. I hope Heath puts Brock out of the UFC. I hope Fitch upsets GSP, but I doubt it. I look forward to a BJP/BSP rematch after BJ spanks the Florian/Huerta winner.

He hasn't paid his dues. He comes in with no experience and wants to fight title contenders at twice their pay. I understand it's marketing and entertainment value, but I don't like it. Plus I don't like him. Maybe it's his arrogance, but there's something about him I just can't stand.

Is he the one requesting these fights or is he being placed into these fights? I can't really fault the guy for getting as much money as possible. I'm sure I'd try and do the same.

Understandable, I was just curious as to your reasoning.

Oh no...he's absolutely taking advantage of a favorable situation. He has enough money to quietly pay his dues and work his way up, but UFC gave him the keys to their gate and he jumped on it. I blame both parties involved. It seems UFC is trying to get new fans in their market rather than appeasing the die-hard fans like me. It's a slap in the face when ignorant people say "MMA=Kimbo Slice or Brock Lesner." I don't want to be associated with that circus. I like the sport/fighters and not the marketing angle.

*steps off soap box*

Brock Lesnar is a national champion heavyweight wrestler though, he has some of the best wrestling credentials of anyone to ever come into MMA. He and Kimbo should not be compared. Yeah, he makes more money because he was in the WWF but i mean Chuck makes more money because rednecks like his mohawk.

well, the dude could end up being the heavyweight champ pretty quickly. I say if you can beat 'em then you've earned your place. He was whipping Mir's arse when he got caught. Mir is no pushover.

I'm with you. I'd personally like to see Lesnar do well and continue to build his skill set. Like, I said, I can't really fault the guy for taking advantage of whatever situation is presented to him. For some reason or another, I don't lump him in with Kimbo, I guess because of the promotion each is in and the competition each have faught. In no way am I saying you're wrong, I just disagree with you over where I'd like to see his career go. I think the UFC could greatly benefit from having someone like him (presuming he shows to be a legit MMA fighter) in their heavyweight division.
