according to a very credible source he will return
he is asking for around half a million but the slot money for his round is $50,000 max, and any more than that would have to be approved by the commissioner, which $500,000 or anything close to that will not be approved.

Also, do the baseball teams have a manager who keeps the running score? or is all that information kept on computer now instead of an old-fashioned scorebook like we used to have?

It is a pretty extensive precess that the marketing dept. at the Athletic Dept. foes through. I think they start in the fall but I am not sure. E-mail the marketing dept.

LSUmomma - I can say that I really don't know what the requirements are; however, a knowledge of baseball is not one of them. I was in the ladies room before a game this past season and overheard one of the girls say she was going to be in the right field bullpen and then proceeded to ask the other girl which bullpen was rightfield. I couldn't help it, I laughed outloud.

That really needs to be rectified!! Anyway, my daughter only wants to be the official scorer, never a batgirl...too much like a cheerleader for her!!

Yeah - you would think that at least some knowledge of BB would be required. And if not, it wasn't like it was the first game of the season, it was in the middle of the season so she should have figured out LF and RF by then.
