What kind of a player is RJ? I follow LSU as close as anyone and can name every starter and every backup but this guy has flew under the radar for sure. Has he under achieved or is he primed for a lot of playing time this year?
I saw someone post his name on the break out player thread and was just wondering if anyone has the scoop on this guy. I think he will be hehind Lafelle, Tolliver, Byrd, the freshman Tolliver, and maybe Peterson if he does not red shirt. And Holliday in some situations. Am i wrong???????????

he's a former RB who plays WR and pretty much only blocks

i think his knee injuries (in high school and in college) have taken their toll on his eplosiveness
i think he was on track to be our starter in 2006 but he really messed up his knee before the year

IMO he could be our prime candidate to take on the WR screen role in blocking or actually catching/running.

According to Moffitt, he's the strongest player on the team. Pound for pound of course. He was super impressive coming out of high school but he's had injury after injury at LSU.

Injuries have set him back and he's playing at some loaded positions. I thought they might try him out at CB due to the lack of experience in the defensive backfield and the fact we are kinda loaded at WR.

He'll be the starting towel waver this year, replacing Jai Eugene.

But the real question is who will fill Tyson Andrus' shoes in the trophy hoisting duties?
BTW - Anyone know why Andrus isn't back on the team this year (only a sophomore last year?)
