i bought ncaa 09 yesterday and within 2 hours of my playing my screen said that the disc was unplayable. any ideas of what happened, what i can do to prevent this in the future, and if i can fix/refund the game?

the lens on your optical drive might be dirty. find one of those cleaner discs that is compatible with your system. (don't know if you need something special, ie if its a ps3) it should be just any generic cleaning disc.

i had the same problem from time to time on different games. whenever that happens, i just run the cleaning disc and i'm fine for a couple months.

If you want to void your warranty and possibly destroy your machine.... sure.

You should be able to get them from any electronics store. Best buy, walmart, ebgames.

i don't think that will make a difference if your optical lens is dirty.
