The LSU Wrestling Club will be hosting its first home meet on February 2nd, 2008. Texas Tech and Auburn University will be joining us for a tri-meet at Cap Elite Sports Performance Center in Baton Rouge. This the old Ketchum, on the Jimmy Swaggert facility on Bluebonnet.
In the 60's 70's and early 80's LSU had a D1 wrestling program that consistently won the SEC and placed Top 10 in the NCAA.
The current club wrestles in the NCWA. This is their first home meet since the start of their program in 2004.
Please come out and support a new LSU sport. Wrestling starts at 5:30.
