Wouldn't a new contract have been negotiated anyway?

-LSU would have offered Miles an amended contract anyway, I think the UM talk just sped it up...and increased the amount. Technically, since he hasn't "met" with Michigan yet, wouldn't he agree to LSU's since Michigan's offer isn't on the table yet?

-Then once he gets Mich's offer he could just say that I didn't have any other offers, so I agreed to LSUs and never actually sign ours.

-I would like to think that Miles won't leave, but I won't be convinced of anything unless he signs the amended contract and it states a larger buyout.
