Not yet... they'll find something out today. He's in talks with Arkansas but I'm pretty sure it's just for leverage and that's cool.

Yep...no agreement signed. In fact, just heard on BHAM radio that there is now a major sticking point that he's not going to agree to. No one is sure what that is, but could be a deal breaker.
We'll see.

I'm just not getting my hopes up. Frankly, if Kiffin is indeed interested... I say we go that route. Cheaper and might prove to be better in the long run.

he still a contract in place right? This is just an extension. If he doesn't get another offer he can quit ($) or coach out his current deal. I think the 6 mill makes him too hot to handle.

Yes...a current contract is in place. But with that said, he could decline and go somewhere else that's willing to pay the Barn the buy out. Same thing happened to us with Fran. One minute he's telling the University he's staying, the next minute he's on a jet to College Station. It happens.
