Osborne to interview 4-5 coaches "in the next few days"

Osborne does not waste time in looking for a coach

(11/25/2007) By Lon Nichols Interim Athletic director Tom Osborne flew out of Lincoln Sunday, heading to Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Tom Osborne is not wasting anytime.
According to the Lincoln Municipal Airport the private jet owned by a UNL booster left Sunday afternoon for Baton Rouge.
It is the home of the LSU Tigers and former Husker defensive coordinator Bo Pelini.
There is no official word if Osborne met with Pelini who is currently the LSU Defensive Coordinator.
The Lincoln Journal Star is reporting the plane sat at the Baton Rouge Airport for two and a half hours.
As for another candidate, Tom Osborne has asked the University at Buffalo Athletic Director for permission to interview Bulls Head Coach Turner Gill.
No word yet on when the former Husker Coach and Player will meet.
During Saturday’s press conference, Osborne said he hoped to interview four to five coaches with–in the next few days.

Mr. Osborne, what do I need to do to convince you that this Certified Used Pelini is the car for you? Let me talk to my finance manager and see if we can work the number for you.

I wonder if he is going to talk to Saban? We will just pay him more.

Trust me Bo probably isn't putting any pressure on Nebraska to offer him the job. Thats not his style
