Netflix Original Series "Scrotal Recall" Thread

I'm two episodes into this and it's a lot funnier than I thought it would. Also, I didn't know that Netflix had the ability to purchase current foreign tv series and put them on streaming [This show is currently on UK's Channel 4]. Of course, I'm not going to jump the gun and say this is the best british series I've ever seen [That title belongs to "Peep Show"]. But the humor does remind me of "Shaun of The Dead" & "I Give It A Year".

Did I miss something? As far as I know, most of the BBC & Channel 4 programming they offer are from shows that have been canceled or are on extended hiatus.

Why in the hell does Netflix attach "Netflix Original" to shows they grab from foreign networks. It is so fricking annoying. I think it dampens the idea of their actual originals. But whatever. They can do whatever they want, I guess.

Netflix Original basically just means they have the exclusive rights to it in America. Marco Polo is the first show they owned the rights to worldwide.

Im pretty sure they're throwing money at the show now, if it's now a joint production through the funding it really doesn't bug me.

Surprisingly, they don't even own "House of Cards" (Media Rights Capital) or "Orange is the New Black" (Lionsgate). They are looking to own more production, though:
