For $7 it doesn't bother me if someone died in these sandals

If you can load it up with affiliate links to products and say shite like "I used this get the body that afforded me an opportunity to nail a TV star from the hit series Nashville"

I'll stop in from time to time. Usually can walk out with a couple shirts.

i personally prefer the arc to goodwill, fewer hipsters. but i dont think everywhere has an arc.

we buy all of our glassware and plates from the arc or goodwill. you can find brand new sets for under $10.

Gateway Rescue Mission >>> Goodwill

Walked into GRM about 10 years ago and they happened to be having an "Everything is 25c" sale. Bought a whole bunch of crap and at least 4 or 5 pairs of workpants were keepers.

Does The Purple Cow still exist? They were more upscale but got a few deals there.

The charity is in the employees, not the shoppers
I believe Goodwill is actually a for-profit enterprise

Gateway is a charity

I often wonder what percentage of the clothes/shoes in there are from deceased people.

Sometimes, when my guys don't want it and they don't feel like hauling it to the dump, they bring a lot of stuff we get out of repo houses to Goodwill and some of it is from reverse mortgage houses where the people have died.

They went to a reverse mortgage house today that probably has $10K worth of antiques.

Can't wait to get my hands on that clean out.

The banks don't claim the belongings inside the house?

The banks aren't in the thrift business.

They want the houses cleaned, repaired, and market ready.
