The QB recruiting at LSU is mind boggling
I can agree that there was an excess amount of deck shuffling after Cam arrived. You would think that Hayden Rettig would have been groomed to be the next guy, but if you read his interviews since he left, he says that Cam was switching over to using dual-threat guys and he didn't fit that mold, so he left. He and Randall leaving definitely did put us in a bind for now.
That said, there is a reason the staff only signed one QB this year, and a project guy at that. They already have Franks committed and we were still in the hunt for Patterson until a couple of months ago. They will get Franks and likely one other guy for 2016, and we will be back to having a crowded QB lineup. There is no way they were going to jeopardize that for a guy to fill depth for a year. The only way the staff brings in another QB would be if a senior transfer fell in their lap, because that is the only way to add depth without getting in the way of future recruiting.

Yes all three did well in the spring game, but I'll be happy with one that can move the team, two is a luxury, and three is a miracle.

Highly unlikely, but yes, it does happen. This year would be McMillian. Showed. Pretty good arm & read on the TD. A 5A Tx high schooler gets some pretty good coaching. Would not be the disaster many think.
Looking more & more lie. 2 QB system coming. Ugh.

Ohio State is the exception, not the rule.
Their 3rd string qb had already been in the program for 2 seasons.

Considering Mett just had one of the best seasons ever for a LSU QB why did they feel the need to switch to dual threat
