one of the only guys where the age limit just does not apply

He just turned 30 last month. 2054 NFL carries + 748 at OK= 2800+. We'll see now, not the past couple of years.

Steven Jackson had his eighth consecutive 1000yd+ season at age 29. He hit 30 and has had 1250 yds in two seasons averaging only 3.6ypc plus injuries.

Oh, who is interested in taking on his contract? 2015: $12.75 million, 2016: $14.75 million, 2017: $16.75 million

I suppose Dallas is interested and AP will, more than likely, take less.

How much of the remaining money is guaranteed?

That's why I mentioned Tampa, I think they are the only ones that can swing it. Not that I'd like to see him in the division.

I've never seen anyone recover from an injury like he has so its kind of an assumption with the age thing on my part.

I believe he can play at a high level for another 3 years.

With what cap room? We can't afford him, he's 30-years-old and you don't know what his body is capable of doing anymore. He has an injury history as it is. No thanks.

Said they are looking for a 1st and a 2nd.....

It can be argued that we have enough picks in the early rounds to spare 2.

You would blow a first and second round pick on AP? A 30 year old, with lockerroom problems, who didnt play last year, and we have 2 very capable running backs on the team?

And you would further argue that Running Back is a higher position of need than Oline, Dline, LB, CB, or pass rusher?

And you add the little cherry on top that it can be argued we have picks to spare?

Go ahead, i'd like to hear the argument that we have high caliber picks to spare.

So, with Ingram, Spiller & Robinson you even want to waste a moment dreaming of AP? Really? Why?

I even if we were interested, OAK, JAX, or DAL would beat us to the punch. One of those teams is going to pull the trigger, im almost sure of it.
