I mean sure, the call was blown...but Schlitter could probably have not left a pitch up in the zone.

I think you should. Did you see the crowd road when Rizzo drew ball four in the first? The crowd fricking erupted. It was easily the loudest cheer I heard all year in any game. That shite sounded like a playoff walk off.

Bryant was visibly nervous in his first at-bat. I can't imagine the pressure with 30,000+ around him wanting to suck his dick and expecting a blast on to Waveland.

Well yea...clearly he threw the ball that got slammed out of the park, but he shouldn't have even still been out there.

man when the ball is that obviously retrievable, i don't think that's the spirit of the rule.

Interesting play just now...Fowler hits a ground rule double while the balls caught in the ivy. But the ball is clearly visible and the Padres outfielders made the wise play to not grab it.
