Biloxi is too close.

I would think that it is too small. I think Shreveport/Bossier could work, but they would need to move to the CenturyTel Center.

Ideally you want your DLeague team to make money by leveraging the brand of it's NBA affiliate while not cannibalizing/competing for sales. It seems like Biloxi and Baton Rouge would be too close. Lafayette/Lake Charles and Shreveport/Bossier make the most sense.

I think Lafayette is even too close.

I agree with keeping it away from NOLA (Pensacola is my choice) but a lot of teams have them under 50 miles from the NBA team. The Thunder moved theirs across the street from the arena.

As I understand it, the NBA has told all 32 of their teams by the end of next year they all have to have a D-League team.

As I understand it, the NBA only has 30 teams...

2 new NBA expansions must be coming soon to a city near you folks!

Sure one of them would be in Seattle.

D-League also trains staff, sponsors, more.

It is a hell of a time investment, but could have many indirect benefits.

I think this could help out tremendously with the building of championship team.

Of course, this may just sound awesome to me BC I'm drinking. So, who really knows

The Shreveport Steamer would be a good throwback name. Just so long as they didn't relocate to Cleveland.
