Can you someone fill me in on the black dude who showed up at the end? Is there bad blood between him and Rick? And how do they know each other?

His name is Morgan. He helped Rick in the first episode when Rick was wandering around ATL after he got out of the hospital. He was on a previous season, maybe last season, when they ran into him. His son died and he's out on his own.

Have you not seen the first episode of the series? He and his son are the first people Rick runs into. He's the guy Rick kept checking the radio for early in the show.

He's really only been in 2 episodes. We get teasers of him in a few others, but as big of an impression as he's made, it's only been the pilot and Clear in season 3.

Season 1 Episode 1
Rick wakes up from hospital, knows nothing. Starts heading home in his gown. Gets in a neighborhood, walking slow and staggering...kid hits him in the head with a shovel, thinking it is a walker. Dad is Morgan. They explain to Rick what is going on. He also couldn't shoot his wife one day while staring at her through a scope.
Fast forward to Season 3, Episode called "Clear". They are about to attack the Governor, Rick, Michonne and Carl go looking for weapons. They stumble across a crazy Morgan that has stockpiled weapons. He refuses to leave with Rick.
As of right now, no.
