Alternatives to Amerivest Portfolio's by TDA?

I've been approached by TDA to look at this type of investment so that they can basically handle my retirement funds for me for a hefty fee. Are there any alternatives that offer the same at a lower price? Any experience with Amerivest? I'm looking to let someone handle my retirement investments for me. Thanks.
