My toilet has been leaking a small amount of water to the rear of it on the bathroom floor. I replaced the wax ring and it seems like there is still water getting back there. Ideas on what to check/replace next to get this fixed?

could it be leaking from the water supply line and just running down mimicking a wax ring leak?

shite. Other than the wax ring and any tubing from source to tank, not sure how water is leaking. Is it still coming from floor area? It could be dripping along side of bowl from the tank. Had that before and thought it was wax ring.

If it was in the front of the toilet, I would consider this a possibility.

Did you check the closet flange? You also may have a leaky supply valve. Lastly, make sure the hose is good.

Check the nuts that tighten the tank to the toilet. Sometimes that's where the water leaks from and it just needs to be tightend up. Also the nuts that hold the toilet to the flange.

check the rubber washers that connect the tank to the crapper, they dry rot(wet rot?) after a while

Just put a towel around it. I wouldn't worry about fixing the issue

check your water connections. Then check your tank. I had a small fissue in my tank that wasn't visible and had a small leak.

remove tank and replace the rubber washers where it mounts.

then try the connection hose if that didn't work.

if this does not stop leak then remove entire toilet and replace wax ring.

I recently replaced these as well. I guess I should try putting a bowl down there to see if water is getting down there from above or below. Somehow I didn't think of that.

Completely cut the water off to the toilet and see if you still see water. I have seen busted lines under the slab cause this also and the water had nothing to do with the toilet...
