Iowa cubs @ Zephyr Field

Anybody going to the 4 game series?? I have tickets to all 4 games but this weather is ugly. If they play the game tonight is it worth going too from mandeville with this weather?? What's Zephyer field like in the rain? Anywhere to take shelter? Anywhere to sit in a covered area? I'm a big cubs fan so I'm leaning toward going.

Free tix. But I'm assuming one could walk up to the ticket office and easily get cheap tickets. I haven't been to a Zephyers game since Mark Prior started for the Iowa cubs about 8 years ago. I bet because of the weather it won't be crowded.

I'm thinking of going tomorrow and possibly Thursday. The Wednesday game is at 11 AM. Maybe if there is a rainout they'll play the makeup on Wednesday as part of a double header. Not sure about today...a lot of rain came down. If it holds off, maybe they will get it in.

You'll be able to sit anywhere you want if they play. If it is raining, whether or not you get wet in certain parts of the stands will depend on the wind direction.

Yeah weekday games almost always have a couple thousand school kids and are not enjoyable to attend.

Cheap tickets and 5 minute oil change gives them away for free
They nail you on concessions though
I went last year with scattered showers, it poured before the game but they got it ready with about an hour delay.
