Crazy because it's so cheaply made too.

But you can drop some real coin on furniture that is made with plastic lumber. I'm going to be passing it on to my grand kids

Why is Mexican labor so expensive these days? I just got a quote for some landscaping and the were just as expensive as the American labor.

I think wood is your best bet as far as durability and longevity are concerned. Either buy a set or build your own. You can find all kinds of ideas and plans online.

I was looking at some patio furniture just a couple of hours ago and thinking how crappy it would look after a year outside...not even remotely worth the bucks that it costs...

Got some from Lowes that was this oiled aluminum bronze crap. Very comfortable but damn, this crap costs more than bigger and better made indoor furniture.
